I can help, though.
I’ve been guiding and crafting performances for twenty-one years. I’ve cast over a hundred productions and viewed thousands of auditions. I know the performances that have affected me and those that haven’t.
I want you to feel and display an intense ownership of your storytelling, because those are the auditions I want to see. Those are the performances I want to see. The “perfect” vocal has become ineffectively common. Your strongest selling points are the reasons you aren’t like the prolific artists who’ve come before you. I can help you accentuate your individuality in the audition and performance space.
I also know how valuable your time is, how frustratingly low-paying a career in the arts can be, and how costly it is to continue the training that’s seemingly expected. What I want is for you to make as much progress in as little time and with as minimal expense as possible. What I want is to give you sustainable, applicable strategies that enable you to coach yourself and eliminate at least some of the need to constantly employ outside assistance.
I’m not a manager. I’m not a voice teacher. I’m not a therapist. I am someone who can help you find how deep and individual a story can be told in your 16-bar cut. I am someone who can help you build a compelling and purposeful 60-75 minute solo show.
